Alix is very happy to be returning to the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival where audiences have seen her perform as Alice in Trouble on Dibble Street, Lady Macduff in Macbeth, Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Mistress Overdone in Measure for Measure, Rosalind in As You Like It and Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice. Most recent theatre credits include playing Olivia in Twelfth Night (OTS), The Ark IV - The Greeks, The Changeling, The Ark III - Brecht, recovery, The Odyssey, The Winter's Tale (National Arts Centre), Mambo Italiano, It's All True (Great Canadian Theatre Company), The Empire Builders - Prix Rideau Award nomination, Betrayal -Prix Rideau Award nomination (Third Wall Theatre), Medea (Magnetic North Theatre Festival/Fringe), The Fan, A Curious Mishap, Bungsu and the Big Snake, Scapin, The Wedding, The Illusion, The Raven (Odyssey Theatre).
Alix is Co-Artistic Director of Guerilla Heart Juice, a physical theatre company through which she is developing her show called em (an afternoon of curious concepts was presented at the festival in 2010 and has now developed into an epic Greek tale). She is also developing an original work with Deluxe Hot Sauce called Skin, a heart-warming story about the Selkie women.
