Rebecca Eamon
Stage Manager
This is Rebecca's first season with the St.
Lawrence Shakespeare Festival. Rebecca started her career in the
theatre when she appeared in the Brockville Operatic Society's 1986
production of Annie Get Your Gun. Rebecca has a B.F.A. in
Drama from the University of Calgary. Since 1997 Rebecca has worked
as a professional Stage Manager across Canada with stops in
Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Ottawa, Gananoque and Morrisburg.
Some of Rebecca's favourite production
credits include A Guide to Mourning, Assassins,
Weather, The Aberhart Summer (Alberta Theatre
Projects, Calgary); Anatomy Lesson, Thunderstruck
(Pi Theatre, Vancouver); Wit (Globe Theatre, Regina). It
was Rebecca's great pleasure to work with the late great Douglas
Campbell on The Tempest and Henry IV, part one at
the beautiful Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival in Vancouver.
More recently Rebecca has dedicated her considerable organizational
talents to the National Arts Centre Foundation (NAC) in Ottawa. She
is very grateful to be able to take a leave of absence from the NAC
in order to spend the summer in Prescott with the St. Lawrence
Shakespeare Festival family.
Rebecca's greatest 'production' is her
marriage to her loving husband John, starring their son Harrison
set in a little cottage in Kemptville.
