2010 Season

A brand new comedy, this play was commissioned by the Festival
to help Prescott celebrate its 200th birthday in 2010. Adapted from
Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, John Lazarus has
set the play in Prescott in 1910, bringing all of Shakespeare's
colourful characters to the local area. Come and enjoy the lovable
rogue, Falstaff, trying to win over the hearts of several married
ladies... and see them get their revenge!

Shakespeare's age-old tale of power, ambition and blood comes to
the Festival stage for the first time. Hubble, bubble, toil and
trouble...
