Exciting things are happening on the banks of the St. Lawrence in Prescott! The continued success of the Shakespeare Festival is in many ways a tribute to the amazing support we receive from friends like you who share our passion for creating world-class theatre in this beautiful setting.
Why support us?
Many of you may not realize that actual ticket sales make up only a small part of the income we need each year to put on a successful season. We want this Festival to thrive as a unique addition to the region's summer activities and without the ongoing support of patrons such as yourselves, who give so generously, we simply couldn't do it!
Your contributions go directly towards production costs such as buying fabric to make costumes, buying materials to build the set or, most importantly of all, enabling us to pay the salaries and travel expenses of some of the best actors from across Canada.
We are also very passionate about attracting youth to experience Shakespeare outside of the classroom. Your support can help to inspire the next generation to realize their full potential.
